Anorexia nervosa is one of the common eating disorders that disturb physical and mental health as well as quality of life Anorexia has always been one of the leading causes of death in teenagers aged 15 to 19 years old This disorder has received a lot of attention from the American Psychiatric Association Anorexia nervosa, in spite of being the most important disorder of eating disorders, has not been largely investigated in Iran In this paper, we discussed the epidemiology, etiology and psychotherapies available for managing anorexia nervosa
