چکیده مقاله
This study analyzes the dynamic relationship between economic growth and/ CO2 emissions in Iran and comparing the results with the United Arab Emirates, Qatar andthe Netherlands using the Environmental Kuznets Curve The study looks at the direct relationship to determine the mutual effects of the two variables during the 1960 2014period Using the World Bank data WDI and a panel data model, the study shows that the results support the Environmental Kuznets Curve EKC hypothesis in all countries under study Even though Iran is in the first stages of developing and economic growth leads to environmental degradation but we are hopeful with economic growth and reaching the turning point the per capita CO2 emission begins to reduction Based on that, the authors conclude that environmental issues must be taken into consideration when legislation economic policies, use environmentally friendly technologies in the manufacturing and transportation sectors as well as using alternative modes of transport
