From the beginning, Transit Oriented Development TOD concept was introduced, there is a particular interest to measure TOD Given that, the aim of this article is to reviewtransit oriented development evaluation methods Some of the most important benefits of the research results are; better understanding of the subject of TOD evaluation, recognition of literature related to TOD evaluation, the importance of the evaluation phase in the successful implementation of TOD process There is a variety of TOD evaluation methods, have been conducted with different perspectives with the aim of evaluation of station areas as TOD and Non TOD In this regard, the important feature of this article is to help to identify non functional methods in the TOD evaluation phase, which prevents cost and time Results show that TOD evaluation is the most important phase of successful implementation TOD, because if TOD has no efficient operation in reality, causes loss of huge investment and so that lack of integrity between public transport and land uses, consequently reverse development will occur
