Background: Each of the colors has a direct effect on the emotions, mind and body of people,which according to the characteristics of each color and the needs of patients, they are used fortreatment However, due to the known effect of color therapy in reducing pain and improvingliber in women, no specific instructions and planning have been done for it Therefore, with theaim of collecting and summarizing all related materials in this field, this study has tried tohighlight this useful, accessible and cost effective treatment method and increase its use toreduce pain in patients and improve liber status in Births help Methods: This study uses keywords, liber women pain color therapy and search in magiran Scopus Science Direct up to date ISI pubmed databases using Google Scholar and Worldcatsearch engines with article review Related was done from 1961 to 2020 Results: By reviewing 281 articles in general, based on the inclusion criteria, 30 articles wereselected for the final review, of which 27 were English and 3 were Persian Research in 3 mainareas: psychological effect of different colors, the effect of colors on reducing sense Pain and theeffect of colors on labor and delivery were studied and it was observed that colors such as blueand green are effective in reducing pain in patients, but the use of red, black, gray, white andorange colors is not recommended for patients Colors have also been shown to reduce pain,improve labor, and better receive maternal education in childbirth preparation classes, and alsoaffect the fetus Conclusion: Despite the proven effects of colors on both cases of the effect of colors on reducingpain and the effect of colors on labor and delivery, Not many studies have been done in thisregardTherefore, more research is needed to discover the secret of the effects of color duringpregnancy, childbirth, reducing pain and further investigating the mechanisms responsible forthem in humans
