چکیده مقاله
S310 stainless steel is used in various industries due to its high strength and corrosion resistance In this research, pulsed laser welding simulation on temperature distribution and residual stresses in weld zone and heat affected zone HAZ has been investigated Residual stress from welding inevitably exists in the vicinity of the weld bead and may have a destructive effect on the weld joint Predicting the amount and distribution of residual stress is important in the design of structural components In this work, a fusion welding simulation is investigated and verified by thermal and mechanical analysis of the coupling The thermomechanical and thermomechanical results showed that the input heat and laser power of welding joints significantly affect the distribution of residual stress and mechanical properties It was also observed that with the increase of input heat, the peak temperature in the welding area increases significantly and this leads to changes in hardness and stress distribution The performed simulations show that the tensile stresses are dominant in the center of the weld and the compressive stresses increase with distance from the center Validation of the simulation results with experimental data shows the high accuracy of the model in predicting the dimensions of the weld pool and temperature distribution
