The present study aimed to investigate the prevalence of work addiction and its relationship with emerging behavioral addictions among employed women The research method was correlational The statistical population consisted of all employed women in the city of Isfahan during the second half of 2024, working in various public and private sectors Based on Cochran’s formula, 300 participants were selected using the convenience sampling method Data collection instruments included the Bergen Work Addiction Scale BWAS , the Work Addiction Risk Test WART , and the Brief Screening for Behavioral Addictions BSBA The validity and reliability of these instruments were confirmed in the present study Data were analyzed using Pearson’s correlation coefficient through SPSS version 26 Findings indicated a positive and significant correlation between work addiction and various dimensions of emerging behavioral addictions among employed women Specifically, significant positive correlations were found between work addiction and behaviors such as compulsive buying, binge eating, sexual behaviors, and emerging work related addictions, while a negative relationship was observed with gaming addiction These findings suggest that work addiction may serve as a predictive factor for the development of emerging addictive behaviors among employed women The results of this study can provide a basis for designing preventive interventions, teaching work–life balance skills, and promoting mental health among employed women
