چکیده مقاله
in this paper a novel algorithm based on texture and color quantization is proposed a tourism database is created During the course of feature extracting, we have quantized the original images into 12 colors and transformed it to L a b color space, and then the statistical information of texture calculated to describe image features then several particular content based image retrieval techniques are selected and applied to the database retrieval experimental results have shown that our proposed method has better performance in our prepared tourism and Corel_1k databases
