چکیده مقاله
This paper presents the analysis and simulation of subsynchronous resonance SSR characteristics of a series compensated system with a static synchronous series compensator SSSC based on diode clamped three level Converter as a part of the total compensation which is called hybrid series compensation HSC also, SSSC is used toenhance the stability of a Single Machine Infinite Bus SMIB The effective damping can be achieved bysupplementary damping controller SDC is added to the SSSC The detailed study of SSR is carried out based on eigenvalue analysis and transient simulation The IEEE first benchmark model FBM is considered for the analysis
