چکیده مقاله
Background and purpose: The study of mental disorders in homosexuals can play an important role in improving the mental health of adolescents and adolescents Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate mental disorders in gay youth and adolescents Materials and Methods: The present study is qualitative and based on the library method based on previous research with the keywords homosexuality, mental disorders, mental health, youth and adolescents in databases such as Science Direct, Google Scholar, Scientific Information Database, Normgaz, and Scopus was searched between 1980 and 2021 Results: The results of the present study showed that mental disorders such as anxiety, depression, suicide, hyperactivity, eating disorders and sleep disorders in young and adolescent homosexuals are more than young and adolescent non homosexuals Conclusion: Mental disorders in homosexual youth and adolescents are more than non homosexuals
