Over the past decade, construction engineering education has increasingly faced the challenge of preparing graduates for financially complex, data intensive project environments Despite rapid advances in artificial intelligence AI and digital project management tools, financial literacy remains one of the least integrated competencies in traditional engineering curricula This study aims to bridge that gap by proposing a comprehensive educational framework that embeds AI based financial literacy within construction engineering programs Drawing on an interdisciplinary review of literature, expert interviews with educators and industry professionals, and a comparative analysis of international curricula, the paper develops a model that connects financial decision making, data analytics, and project management The proposed framework emphasizes the dual capability of future engineers: the analytical literacy to interpret financial data through AI tools, and the managerial judgment to apply these insights in complex, real world contexts Findings suggest that such integration enhances students’ strategic reasoning, risk awareness, and cross disciplinary collaboration skills The research contributes to both engineering education and accounting pedagogy by demonstrating how digital intelligence can transform financial learning into a core element of sustainable engineering practice in the Fourth Industrial Revolution
