Software testing ST and artificial intelligence AI have significantly influenced the evolution of computing, with AI’s capabilities expanding dramatically due to advances in computing power and data availability AI’s integration into ST, especially through tools like natural language processing and evolutionary algorithms, is transforming testing practices by automating test case generation, enhancing test accuracy, and reducing manual effort A recent survey among 31 software testing professionals underscores the effectiveness of AI in these processes, with the majority noting moderate to high effectiveness Specifically, 23 respondents expressed interest in AI for automating natural language requirements into test scripts, highlighting a strong demand for further integration This convergence of AI and ST not only addresses current challenges in handling complex software systems but also paves the way for future advancements in software quality assurance, suggesting a transformative impact on the field based on concrete feedback from industry practitioners
