چکیده مقاله
Introduction : The inability to get pregnant after having sex without contraception until one year is called Infertility, therefore, it is a complex and uncertain condition that affects the lives of individuals and couples in various ways and origins serious disruptions in their marital and sexual relationships The relevant between sexual dysfunction and infertility can be two way and on the other hand sexual dysfunction can induce infertility The pur pose of this review study was to investigate sexual function in infertile women Method: In this study, systematic reviews of relevant and proper English and Persian arti cles were collected from PubMed, Scopus, Google scholar, and Magiran databases using keywords, infertility, sexual dysfunction of young women and sexual satisfaction, from 2006 to 2016 Out of 120 papers, 24 were fi nally reviewed for this study Results: Findings indicate that infertility and its stages of diagnosis and treatment lead to inappropriate sexual function of women and hurt their sexual and marital relationships Conclusion: Women with infertility usually have more sexual dysfunctions, but the exact relationship between infertility and sexual satisfaction is still unclear, and further re search on the interplay of sexual function in infertile couples is recommended
