This study delves into the pivotal role of Key Performance Indicators KPIs in optimizing flight planning and management within the airline industry By employing a mixed methods approach, combining quantitative andqualitative analyses, the research investigates how KPI driven strategiesimpact operational efficiency, safety compliance, cost management, andcustomer satisfaction The findings reveal that meticulously selected andmanaged KPIs significantly enhance operational outcomes, guidingstrategic decisions and fostering a culture of continuous improvement Comparative and case study analyses further illustrate the tangible benefitsof successful KPI implementation in real world settings, providing valuableinsights for flight planning managers and airline executives This researchunderscores the necessity of adopting a holistic, KPI driven approach tonavigate the complexities of the contemporary aviation environmenteffectively It offers strategic recommendations for integrating technology,prioritizing safety, and enhancing customer experiences The studycontributes to the theoretical and practical discourse on airline operations,highlighting the enduring value of KPIs in achieving operational excellenceand strategic success in a rapidly evolving industry
