The challenges associated with water resources only get worse over time because of climate change, globalization, and socio economic development Resulting from these changes, issues with the management of water resources continue to arise in both the quantity and quality of water possessed This study investigates the managed literature of sustainable water resources, focusing on the integration of cutting edge technologies, nature based approaches, conservation based management, and merging governance, socio economic, and control–evaluation frameworks From the climate changes, water resources, and sustainability management keywords, relevant study papers were retrieved from the Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar databases The altered precepting patterns, the melting of glaciers, issues of drought and floods, and the integration of water resources management IWRM frameworks were the focus Technological developments in smart irrigation, desalination, and wastewater recycling are discussed alongside nature based approaches like wetland restoration, green structured urban development, and ecological conservation The integrated strategies that combine technology, nature based solutions, conservation, and governance focused on social equity show the greatest potential for resilience In contrast, piecemeal or purely sectoral strategies almost always fail to produce sustainable results The research indicates that the greatest efficiencies are achieved when technology and inclusive policy are aligned, resulting in benefits on both the social equity and environmental fronts
