Artificial Intelligence AI and Big Data are at the forefront in transforming strategic decision making globally across industry demographics The complexity of these technologies though, brings into question transparency, accountability and ethics This paper presents the Governance Embedded Hybrid Intelligence GHI architecture that combines human judgment, machine intelligence and structured governance to tackle such problems We propose this framework through the lens of looking into interdisciplinary literature, by focusing on the basics of what Hybrid Intelligence means, Explainable AI XAI , and how much data governance matters in high stakes environments The paper outlines core problems: the lack of algorithmic transparency, ethical fuzziness and regulatory voids It subsequently posits a model to assure that both strategic decision making are not only data driven but also aligned with ethics and legal guidelines The G HI model, stressing human monitoring and the engagement of stakeholders further improves trustworthiness and reliability in AI informed decisions The framework acts as a guideline for responsible embedding of intelligent systems in the age of XAI and Big Data
