چکیده مقاله
Luri people have a lasting contribution to Iranian culture, language and civilization forever Contrary to common belief, the Luri language is not merely a dialect of Persian but an independent and ancient language rooted in the Zagros region that has directly influenced Persian Therefore, New Persian did not develop from the formal court language, but rather evolved from the local dialects of the Zagros people, especially the Lurs and Southwestern Persians In fact, the Luri language belongs to the people who built the cultural and linguistic foundations of ancient Iran In this paper, I aim to examine the role of the Luri language in shaping the identity of the people of Khuzestan and to explore how the Persian language evolved from the ancient roots of Luri This research is based on a historical linguistic approach, using historical sources and comparative analysis of the Luri and Persian languages to show their shared origin and historical continuity within the Zagros region
