چکیده مقاله
Cities striving for low carbon emissions and resilience to climate change need solutions that interact and reinforce one another rather than stand apart This paper sets out an integrated vision that links renewable energy, indoor environmental quality, sustainable materials, and smart infrastructure management The approach combines solar powered cooling that stores energy in phase change materials to deliver reliable temperature control without reliance on a strong grid; new air cleaning systems that use photocatalytic action and salt based coatings to keep indoor spaces healthy; and lightweight bio based aerogels that trap fine particles while reducing environmental impact Alongside these elements, an intelligent structural health monitoring framework—built on dense sensor networks, real time digital twins, and machine learning analysis—helps protect coastal and offshore assets over the long term Taken together, these technologies provide a practical route for cities to cut emissions, safeguard public health, and extend the service life of critical structures The study shows how clean energy, multifunctional materials, and data driven monitoring can converge to create urban environments that are both sustainable and prepared for a changing climate
