چکیده مقاله
Introduction: Noise pollution is one of the major environmental problems in cities which hasbeen a growing concern in the last few years One of the most important sources of thispollution is transportation and cars traffic The present study was implemented in 2011 withan overall goal of assessment of noise pollution and traffic noise index in rush hours ofsummer in Ahwaz, Iran 2011 Methods and Materials: In this descriptive study, 7 roads of the main routs of Ahwaz whichhave high density of traffic are selected and , 42 measuring stations were chosen In them atmeasuring stations, on one day of week saturday ,at three time periods 7 8 Am 12 13 Pm 8 9 PM , measurments were recorded that including 6 parameters of traffic noise Lmax , Lmin ,Leq , L10 , L50 , L90 In this study the level of TNI, NPL were also studied each measurementwas recorded for 30 minutes After transferring datas to computer, Spss and Excel softwareswere applied for statistical analysis and T test and ANOVA were used for statistical tests Then Regression multi variables was tested on data in order to relate between traffic load andLeq Results: The findings of this study showed that the average of equivalent Sound pressurelevel,also the average of TNI, NPL in all stations were equal to 72/54 ± 3/33,72/43± 4/25 and81/07± 2/30 respectively The results of Pearson correlation Test about quantitative trafficdatas showed that Leq was directly related to the this variable p
