چکیده مقاله
Background and Objective:Noise pollution is one of the major environmental problems in cities which has been a growing concern inthe last few years One of the most important sources of noise pollution is transportation and cars traffic present study was implemented in 2011 with an overall goal of Effect assessment of some Independentvariables on equivalent sound pressure level Leq in the highways of Ahwaz city ,Iran Research Method:For this study ,data was colleted from totally 112measuring stations, 4 weekdays and 3 intervals as rushhours, yielding to a total number of 1344 traffic noise measurements Leq and the influencial factors fromenvironmental features, road sizes and climate conditions In the next step, all field data was put to Exceland SPSS, two soft wares for process Then Regression multi variables were tested on data in order topresent some stasistical models ResultsThe findings of this study showed that average of equivalent Sound pressure level in all stations is equalto 72/62 ± 2/53 dBA Also ,The result of pearson correlation test showed, there was a marked relationbetween equivalent Sound pressure level and all the Independent variables P
