Due to the Internet's integration into education in the current technological era, the educational landscape is changing quickly and profoundly Given that information and communication technologies ICTs are fundamental to society, education should therefore give special attention to the requirements of an organization —the educational process to prepare students for this rapidly changing culture In this study, a computer based technique called Web Quest is implemented, evaluated, and analyzed in senior high school education The implemented didactic unit focuses on The many nations that speak English and their distinctive characteristics The new strategy has been applied through in class activities and individual and group work This study aims to examine and discuss the thoughts and responses of students to implementing this novel teaching and learning approach in an EFL class In this regard, the study intends to demonstrate if students have increased their digital competence, acquired cultural competency, and have a higher motivation to learn English The findings indicate how the employment of new technologies has inspired students to engage in the teaching and learning of the English subject, enhancing both their digital and cultural competency
