Shahnameh is the great Iranian letter and a thousand year old culture and civilization that has presented rational thoughts and knowledge of human civilization among mankind, not only Iranians, over a suitable period of time The greatest epic work of Iran, Shahnameh, is a rich legacy of wisdom, advice, and culture that is a support for ensuring the stability and strength of human cultural infrastructures The aim of the present study is to examine and analyze Ferdowsi's harsh language and assessment in the use of speech and avoidance of idioms as one of the components of culture or part of culture This study, which was conducted in a descriptive analytical manner based on library studies and the document research method in Shahnameh, aims to discuss and examine Ferdowsi's literary role and avoidance of idioms in Shahnameh in advancing and demonstrating the ancient and ritual culture of Iranians The results of the research show that the Shahnameh is a work full of confrontations on the battlefields, grudges, love, boasting, etc But throughout this epic journey from the beginning to the end of the Shahnameh, Ferdowsi has preserved the practical model of politeness as the dominant aspect of Iranian culture in his words
