This study investigated the effectiveness of podcasts as a tool for enhancing listening skills among English language learners A total of 100 participants were divided into an experimental group that utilized podcasts and a control group that engaged in traditional listening exercises The study employed a quasi experimental pre test/post test design, measuring improvements in listening comprehension through standardized tests and analyzing data using SPSS Results indicated a significant improvement in listening skills for the experimental group, with a mean score increase of 21 2 points compared to 7 6 points in the control group Correlation analyses highlighted strong relationships between podcast engagement and listening scores Findings suggest that podcasts can serve as an effective medium for enhancing language acquisition, particularly among younger and more proficient learners The study contributes to the growing body of literature advocating for innovative teaching methods in English language education
