The increase in informality is becoming prevalent in numerous locations, largely driven by escalating inequality However, despite extensive research and interventions conducted over the course of several decades, the acknowledgment and understanding of this phenomenon, referred to as the recognition of informality continue to pose a significant challenge Urban informality refers to the existence of informal settlements, economies, and governance structures within urban areas, challenging conventional notions of urban development and posing critical questions regarding its impact on society In particular, needs to develop a multi scale integrated approach that reflects the process of daily life The debate focuses on the role played by multi dimensions in shaping various versions of urban informality This study seeks to evaluate the influential factors of urban informality in Pakdasht in Tehran province with a critical and comprehensive assessment The research findings indicate that the highest factor score is attributed to the economic variable, while the lowest factor score is associated with the social variable
