چکیده مقاله
The use of natural plant compounds for medicinal purposes is crucial in cancer treatment. Cancer can develop through various mechanisms, but it has been found that (Phoenix dactylifera L.) contains numerous anticancer compounds in its different organs. These compounds can help prevent cancer, slow down its progression, enhance the effects of cancer-fighting drugs, and effectively contribute to its treatment. The bioactive compounds in the date palm inhibit the growth of cancer cells and promote their programmed cell death (apoptosis). While most research has focused on the fruit of the date palm, it is important to further understand the composition of other parts such as the seeds, leaves, and pollen. By optimizing and purifying these effective substances, especially from the peripheral parts of the date palm, promising results can be expected in the control and treatment of cancer.
