The purpose of this research was to analyze the use of classroom theater in public schools in the less developed areas of Mashhad The method in this research is based on a qualitative and in depth investigation of the reality, therefore, in depth interview technique has been used To select the samples, a targeted method was used and a qualitative in depth interview was conducted with 12 experts from the Department of Education of Tabadakan district, school principals and teachers who have more contact with the research field, and the criterion of this sample was theoretical saturation The data obtained from the interviews was analyzed using the MAXQDA software according to the basic concepts and converting them into categories with the help of coding According to the findings, 10 components were coded, which are: the description of the place of theater, the use of theater in teaching, the possibilities of performing classroom theater, the empowerment of teachers to perform classroom theater, the attitude toward classroom theater, the ability to attract classroom theater, the lasting effect on memory, the ability The performance of educational theater, the method of using educational theater and the obstacles to its implementation have been obtained This study shows that classroom theater in Tabadakan region, which is one of the less developed regions in Mashhad, has not been given much attention as a method and no action has been taken to develop and promote it in the region, on the other hand, the necessary facilities and training for teachers to perform Such a method has not been provided, and some books and lessons have not been able to implement such a method
