چکیده مقاله
Job burnout among teachers has become a significant concern in educational systems worldwide, particularly among English language teachers who face high instructional demands, classroom management challenges, and emotional labor This article reviews the key factors contributing to burnout among English teachers in Iranian schools and explores supportive strategies that can help reduce stress and improve teacher well being The study is based on a theoretical and analytical review of recent literature in educational psychology and teacher well being Findings indicate that heavy workload, lack of institutional support, large class sizes, student behavioral issues, and examination oriented curricula are among the main factors contributing to teacher burnout Additionally, insufficient professional development opportunities and limited autonomy in decision making further intensify emotional exhaustion On the other hand, supportive strategies such as organizational support, professional training, peer collaboration, emotional intelligence development, and stress management programs can significantly reduce burnout levels The study concludes that improving teacher well being is essential for enhancing instructional quality and student achievement in Iranian EFL contexts :
