This paper presents a hybrid anti islanding detection method that integrates passive and active techniques to improve detection accuracy, reduce non detection zones NDZ , and ensure rapid islanding identification The method leverages positive and negative sequence voltage components while incorporating an active load switching strategy when passive methods alone are insufficient The proposed hybrid method achieves high speed, accurate, and cost effective islanding detection Its adaptability makes it suitable for various DG connection configurations, ensuring reliable operation in real world power systems
