چکیده مقاله
The present research investigated the relationship between preschoolers’ mothers’ attachment styles and anger in preschoolers of Shiraz city The study was conducted by a correlation descriptive approach, and a sample of 100 preschoolers and their mothers who were selected by the available sampling method The results showed that there was a significant inverse relationship between the secure attachment style and children’s anger However, the avoidant attachment styles and ambivalent style were associated with higher levels of anger in children Regression analysis showed that the mothers’ attachment styles could significantly predict child’s anger and explain 39% of the variance The findings highlight the crucial role of primary attachment which develops the Emotional regulation and reduce the aggressive behavior of the children Therefore, strengthening secure attachment through parenting and targeted interventions in childhood can be a great approach in preventing preschoolers’ emotional and behavior problems
