Mian goal of this paper is improving dynamic behavior of power system in the presence of Flexible Alternating Current Transmission Systems FACTS devices Improvement of dynamic behavior is based on improving angle and magnitude of voltage profile, reducing power loss and arising loadability To do this, two types of the most common types of these system have been selected and placed; which are: Unified Power Flow Controller UPFC and Static Var Compensator SVC Cuckoo Optimization Algorithm COA has been used to solve this problem and simulation performed in MATLAB software environment Case study has been performed by simulating on IEEEE standard system by introducing based on the numbers of UPFCs and SVCs
