The level of education of parents, like other factors affecting educational progress, affects educational progress or academic failure in different ways The purpose of this article was to investigate the impact of parents' literacy on the academic progress of students case study: primary schools of Shout city , which was obtained analytically descriptively and through information obtained from parents and interviews with them In the interview, the students' parents were divided into cycle, cycle to diploma, diploma to bachelor's degree, and higher in terms of educational levels The results show that parents' education is an important factor in children's progress It can be said that parents' education is the factor of people's success in today's society Communities whose parents have high education can easily control and eliminate their problems in any field such as clothing, health, housing, education Educated parents will automatically enjoy a higher and better culture, environment and position due to obtaining better and more useful jobs, and having a good position affects their children's attitude towards their parents and their sense of security and self confidence, as a result, they can better communicate with their environment and this causes their talent to grow and flourish Parents' education has a direct and positive relationship with students' academic progress
