Geomatics, knowledge and techniques of collecting, analyzing and interpreting, distributing, managing and using spatial information Geomatics involves a wide range of technologies that can create a shared point of reference system for providing an understandable picture of the physical world that our site encompasses Meanwhile, the unified use of GIS and RS methods, together with the efficient use of new digital data, can be very effective in providing new ways of using urban models The type of research is applied in terms of its purpose and its descriptive analytical nature To collect the required information, a methodology based on government documents, articles, journals, press and statistics is used Therefore, first, the features of remote sensing and GIS have been studied Finally, the development process of Karaj city has been addressed During its lifetime, especially during the years 1335 to 1395, the city of Karaj, due to unplanned migration and unconventional and out of program construction, has followed various patterns of expansion, and has faced many difficulties in this ups and downs Now it has caught the citizens and managers of the city
