Introduction: Cognitive regulation deficits and interpersonal difficulties are among the most critical factors associated with borderline personality disorder BPD symptoms in university students The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between interpersonal emotional self disclosure and BPD symptoms in students and the mediating role of cognitive regulation deficits emotion dysregulation and executive function difficulties in students of the University of Tabriz Methods: The research method was fundamental and descriptive correlational using path analysis The statistical population included all students of both genders across all fields and educational levels at the University of Tabriz in the academic year ۲۰۲۳ ۲۰۲۴, from which ۲۲۰ individuals were selected using random cluster sampling method Data collection instruments included the Emotional Self Disclosure Scale Faramarzi Rad et al , ۲۰۲۳ , the Difficulties in Emotion Regulation Scale Gratz & Roemer, ۲۰۰۴ , the Borderline Personality Disorder Symptom Scale Piri et al , ۲۰۲۰ , and the Executive Functioning Index Barkley, ۲۰۱۵ For data analysis in the descriptive section, central and dispersion indices were examined using SPSS version ۲۶, and path analysis was conducted using Amos software to test the hypotheses Results: The direct effect of interpersonal emotional self disclosure on cognitive regulation deficits was negative and significant P
