چکیده مقاله
As the aging population continues to grow, concerns regarding physical performance and the fear of falling in older adults have become increasingly prominent This review article aims to explore the impact of cognitive interventions on muscular performance and the reduction of fall related anxiety among older adults A systematic literature search was conducted using databases such as PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar, focusing on studies published between 2013 and 2023 The analysis revealed that cognitive training, including techniques such as mental imagery and cognitive behavioural therapy, significantly improved muscular performance and reduced fear of falling Notably, these interventions enhanced physical capabilities and fostered greater confidence in performing daily activities The findings suggest that integrating cognitive interventions into fall prevention programs can benefit older adults, promoting physical and psychological well being Future research should further investigate optimal intervention strategies and their long term effects on this demographic Overall, this review underscores the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to enhance the quality of life for older adults by addressing both cognitive and physical health
