In today's world, banking, as a fundamental pillar of the economic system, plays an indispensable role in facilitating financial transactions and promoting economic development With advancements in technology and rapid changes in the business environment, identifying existing barriers in the banking system and leveraging emerging opportunities appear essential This study aims to comprehensively examine the barriers to banking and analyze the opportunities available for its improvement and development The significance of this topic lies in the fact that a proper understanding of barriers and opportunities can lead to effective strategies for enhancing efficiency and innovation in the banking system The research method employed is descriptive analytical, utilizing library resources and credible scientific articles to analyze legal, technological, economic, and cultural barriers The results indicate that by addressing these barriers and capitalizing on opportunities such as digital transformation, open banking, and the use of artificial intelligence, the banking system can achieve improved performance and increased customer satisfaction lead to better decision making and reduced potential losses
