Various methods of psychotherapy for the treatment of psychological disorders and abnormalities have come to the aid of psychologists, counselors, psychiatrists and all the treatment staff in these fields In such a way that today the practitioners of this collection are faced with a wide range of psychotherapy methods, each of which requires its own training and guidance In addition, each of those methods are specific to specific problems of behavioral and cognitive abnormalities Music therapy in its scientific and experimental sense, passing through ancient and legendary history, finally came to fruition with a bag knowledge and experience as a scientific and academic discipline, and the fluid and magical power of music combined with medical and psychological knowledge to human life Give vitality, health and energy The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects and role of music therapy in improving social skills and communication abilities in children with developmental coordination disorder In order to achieve the aforementioned goal, a semi experimental research method was used with an experimental group 31 people and a control group 31 people The statistical population of the recent research was the primary school students of Isfahan city, who were selected by non random sampling method and were replaced in two experimental and control groups In addition, in this research, the music therapy recipe for the experimental group was used as an experimental measure Also, Gresham and Elliot questionnaire 3994 was used to measure the social skills of the subjects, and Barton JA's questionnaire 3994 was used to evaluate communication skills and abilities It is necessary to explain that the revised version of Wilson et al 's 1449 developmental coordination disorder questionnaire developed for the age range of 1 to 31 years was used to identify and diagnose subjects with developmental disorders The analysis of the results of this research was done using SPSS 27 software The findings showed that music therapy has left positive effects on the improvement of social skills and communication abilities of the studied group, which was an indication of the useful and effective use of experimental measures on the subjects
