چکیده مقاله
The increasing prevalence of job related stress and anxiety in modern workplaces has necessitated the exploration of effective strategies to enhance employee well being Job flexibility, encompassing various forms such as flexible working hours, telecommuting, and time off provisions, has been identified as a potential solution This study investigates the role of job flexibility in reducing stress and anxiety among employees, focusing on the specific aspects of flexibility that are most effective and the moderating factors that influence these outcomes Utilizing a comprehensive literature review, this research synthesizes findings from multiple studies to explore the impact of job flexibility across different contexts The results indicate that flexible working hours and the ability to take time off significantly reduce stress levels, particularly in high stress professions However, telecommuting presents mixed effects, increasing job satisfaction while potentially raising stress due to challenges in maintaining work life balance Additionally, psychological flexibility a form of psychological resilience emerges as a critical moderator that enhances the effectiveness of job flexibility in reducing stress The study concludes that job flexibility is a powerful tool for improving employee well being, but its effectiveness depends on factors such as job control, psychological resilience, and organizational culture These findings underscore the need for a tailored approach in implementing flexible work arrangements, ensuring that they meet the specific needs of employees and are supported by a conducive organizational environment Future research should focus on longitudinal studies of psychological flexibility and cross cultural comparisons to further refine our understanding of these dynamics
