In the past years, the use of energy storage systems has been increasing significantly, in order to enable the further integration of renewable resources, especially for local energy systems Appropriate energy management practices must be implemented to efficiently utilize those energy storage systems In this article, an efficient energy management method is briefly discussed in the article and a real application, which has been realized in the university campus of Islamic Azad University, is presented The proposed energy management method is used to reduce power peaks in the network, reduce energy exchanged with the network and power imbalance
