Historical buildings are considered as key elements in preserving the cultural and urban identity of societies These buildings, which are tangible symbols of a nation's history and culture, play a crucial role not only in reflecting the past but also in shaping the collective identity of urban communities This paper explores the importance of historical buildings in maintaining cultural and urban identity and analyzes the challenges and strategies for preserving and protecting these cultural heritage sites Additionally, it addresses the role of modern approaches in safeguarding these structures in the contemporary world and provides suggestions for strengthening protective measures and raising public awareness in this regard
