Introduction: Oral health education in children is not only essential for maintaining their oral health, but also forms healthy behaviors in future Thus, it is required to know about the existing programs in this field The present study aims to develop visual knowledge maps of oral health promotion programs and analyze the current status, intellectual structure, thematic clusters, and development trends of health promotion research in oral health Method: The present study is applied in type, and was conducted using bibliometric methods The research population included all scientific articles published in all languages from 1929 to 2023 VOSviewer1 6 20 was used to analyze the data Results: An analysis of 335 articles on oral health education found that the body of research could be categorized into 10 thematic clusters, including caries prevention, health behavior change, clinical interventions, public health promotion, and use of standardized oral health indicators
