Educational spaces are often vulnerable to earthquakes due to their continuous use and the presence of more users The users of these centers often do not have the necessary knowledge and preparedness against earthquakes Therefore, the purpose is reducing the vulnerability of Faculty of Law, Shahid Beheshti University SBU in Tehran, Iran To achieve this purpose, the methodology is hybrid including descriptive, analytical and field survey In this method, the required data was gathered using the specialized texts, international documents, as well as questionnaire, interviews, observation and visiting the case study Then, the information was categorized and analyzed through statistical software Finally, the SWOT analysis was also done Vulnerabilities in two managerial and non structural aspects were identified and solutions were proposed In total, theoretical and practical trainings, preparing an organizational chart of the Incident Command System ICS , preparing emergency evacuation maps, and the presented ways to reduce the vulnerability of non structural components lead to risk reduction of the college This study is practical due to its special geographical location, which is located on the active fault of the North of Tehran Furthermore, its type of use, which is educational and having many users, emphasizes its significance The originality is that the process, steps and the hybrid methodology and practical approach used in this case study can be applied to reduce earthquake vulnerability in similar educational spaces
