چکیده مقاله
In the face of growing urban demands and resource constraints, civil engineering projects are increasingly exploring modern construction methods MMC as a strategic response to cost and scheduling challenges This study investigates the application and perception of MMC in Tehran’s construction sector, focusing on its effectiveness in improving project efficiency Using a mixed methods approach, data was gathered through surveys and interviews with industry professionals The results reveal that although traditional methods still dominate, the adoption of MMC—especially modular and volumetric systems—is gaining traction Findings show moderate consensus on MMC's ability to reduce project duration, while cost effectiveness remains a point of contention, largely due to high initial investments and inconsistent awareness of long term benefits The study concludes that while MMC offers substantial potential for time and cost control, broader adoption will depend on industry readiness, improved data transparency, and supportive policy frameworks
