چکیده مقاله
In this paper, the vibrational behavior of wind turbine blades subjected to wind loads is simulated by introducing a one dimensional finite element model of a cantilever composite beam based on the first order shear deformation theory Considering in plane and out of plane motions, this paper proposes a formulation to capture all degrees of freedom, including axial deformation, torsion, in plane bending, and out of plane bending deformations and rotations The time response of the beam under harmonic and random loads is obtained by incorporating the Newmark method The effects of geometric configuration, composite properties, and loading conditions are analyzed, providing valuable insights into the behavior of wind turbine blades under various conditions The findings prove that in plane and out of plane interactions should be considered in the vibration analysis of wind turbine blades, whereas axial deformation, torsion, in plane, and out of plane rotations can be overlooked Also, the optimum design is necessary for wind turbine blades to achieve appropriate power generation efficiency and preserve their health
