چکیده مقاله
Probability and Statistics for Engineerscovers verities of subjects such as the set theory,the combinatory analysis, probability, statistics,and the stochastic processes in some universities Since, course receives only 3 credits it has to bethought 3 hours/week This overloading contentalong with time limitation make course as achallenging and difficult one for students Also,many instructors, including the first author, foundthe course very challenging to teach Two popularon site and e learning training systems do notprovide any appropriate solution This articlesuggests a hybrid training system, which combinessome elements of both training systems to reducethe disadvantages of both systems Readiness ofsuch hybrid course is measured by preparedness ofstudents for online activities The readiness studyat Shahid Beheshti University shows that Internetskills, self directed learning, learner attitude towarde learning, e mail skills, and software ability ofstudents are factors which are significantly affectreadiness of students
