چکیده مقاله
Background: Initial stage enamel demineralization remains a reversible condition if managed through appropriate non invasive measures Fluoride has traditionally served as the benchmark agent for promoting remineralization; however, nano hydroxyapatite n HAp has gained recognition as a structurally analogous biomimetic alternative Objective: This study aims to assess and contrast the effectiveness of n HAp based and fluoride based dentifrices in restoring mineral content in early enamel lesions and to evaluate their respective impacts on dentinal sensitivity and patient reported satisfaction Methods: In this 12 week, randomized, controlled clinical investigation, 80 individuals diagnosed with early enamel demineralization were randomly allocated to either an n HAp or fluoride toothpaste group, instructed to brush twice daily Lesion progression was monitored using ICDAS scoring and QLF imaging at baseline and at 4 week intervals Dentinal sensitivity was rated using the Visual Analog Scale VAS , and structured satisfaction questionnaires were administered Results: Although both groups exhibited clinical improvements, participants using the n HAp toothpaste showed significantly greater reductions in ICDAS scores and QLF AF values by week 12 p
