This paper examines the aerodynamic efficiency of an Audi A4 model car through the flow properties about the body under various turbulence hypothesis using the Computational Fluid Dynamics CFD The simulation aims at achieving fuel efficiency and decreasing drag by establishing the verdict of drag and friction ratios To identify the behavior of flow around the car under incompressible headwind conditions, four turbulence models were used; k epsilon, k omega SST, Transition SST and k kl omega ANSYS Fluent software was modeled, meshed, and solved to get the car geometry The findings indicated that, the k omega SST model had the lowest drag coefficient of 0 2583, and thus it was the best in terms of ensuring that there was a reduction in the aerodynamic drag The model that presented the best drag coefficient of 0 3654 was the Transition SST model To gain a comprehensive insight into the aerodynamic behaviour of every turbulence model, velocity contours, distribution of pressure and streamline patterns were examined
