چکیده مقاله
Sedentary athletes who require high physical activity after an ACL injury are often encouraged to undergo surgical reconstruction However, return to ACL reconstruction ACLR does not guarantee normal function or knee function Current literature research shows that only about 50% of ACLR patients are ready to return to competitive sports Another issue is the increased incidence of second ACL injuries, particularly among young athletes Up to 20% of participants who attempt a return to sport in the first year after surgery have a second ACL injury Patients after ACLR are also at an early onset of osteoarthritis Rehabilitation after ACLR should be closely examined to optimize preventative strategies Existing ACLR rehabilitation programs may not be effective in treating deficits caused by the injury and surgery Motor learning, which involves learning motor skills and neuroplastic potential, is not effectively activated during conventional rehabilitation, leading to high re injury rates This article introduces new motor learning findings to help neuroplasticity and reduce the possibility of second ACL injuries The key issues to promote treatment and compliance with a return to sporting activities after an ACL tear are external concentration, non conscious acquisition, discriminated acquisition, self regulated interference, and contextual learning
