Recent advancements in computational biomechanics have significantly enhanced our understanding of vascular physiology and pathophysiology The integration of patient specific clinical data with computational models offers a powerful framework for predicting vascular behavior under physiological and pathological conditions This study explores the state of the art computational approaches that link imaging based clinical datasets, such as CT angiography CTA , MR angiography MRA , and intravascular ultrasound IVUS , with numerical simulations of blood flow, arterial wall mechanics, and hemodynamic responses By coupling these data driven models with finite element analysis FEA , computational fluid dynamics CFD , and fluid–structure interaction FSI techniques, researchers can develop personalized predictive tools that improve diagnostic accuracy and treatment planning Furthermore, this study highlights the crucial role of multiscale modeling in bridging the gap between cellular level mechanobiology and whole organ biomechanics, enabling more accurate assessment of vascular diseases such as aneurysms, atherosclerosis, and arterial stiffening The study also discusses recent efforts in model validation, uncertainty quantification, and the integration of machine learning techniques to enhance computational efficiency and clinical relevance By reviewing the current body of research, this study identifies key challenges in translating computational findings into clinical practice, including data standardization, model personalization, and real time simulation constraints Finally, it proposes future directions aimed at establishing a synergistic pipeline between clinical data acquisition, model calibration, and patient specific vascular simulations, thereby advancing precision medicine and personalized cardiovascular healthcare
