The aim of this study is investigating oral health in cancer patients The goal of cancer treatment is destroying or killing the cancer cells However, some cancertreatments can often damage other cells in the body and cause side effects Cancer treatments have a devastating effect on most parts of the body, including the mouth and teeth Therefore, it is important to know about oral care in cancer patients The mouth and teeth are organs that may be damaged by chemotherapy or radiotherapy Therefore, paying attention and implementing special care in the treated patients helps them to go through their treatment period more comfortably and calmly A person needs to see a dentist before starting cancer treatment, and with this visit he or she can prevent many oral problems during chemotherapy and get less complicated treatment
