چکیده مقاله
The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of gum disease on heart health The present study is an applied research and in terms of method is alsodescriptive survey The statistical population of this study was 250 people who referred to a heart hospital in Tehran and had a history of gingival problems Thesample size based on Morgan table is 148 people and sampling method is also available In this study, these patients and their history were examined and datarelated to their heart condition and dental status were studied Then k s test and one sample t test were used and data were analyzed by SPSS software The results showed that in the spatial area of this study and by examining in relation to the study sample, gum diseases gingivitis, gingivitis and periodontitis have a negative impact on heart health
