Background and Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between job satisfaction and mental health in the workplace of nurses at Golestan Hospital in Ahvaz Methods: The total number of subjects in this study was 175 144 males and 31 females nursing staff from whom Job Satisfaction Questionnaire JDI and General Health Questionnaire GHQ were taken SPSS version 18 was used for data analysis Cronbach's alpha test and normality test were also used Results: The results showed that people with higher health scores have lower satisfaction scores r = 0 295 and p
